The Network Service Technician will be responsible for support services, troubleshooting circuits, equipment
and basic technical health of existing customer networks. A good, basic understanding of network
configurations and end-user technology is helpful. This candidate must have excellent organizational skills, be
able to multi-task and be available for after-hours assistance.
Responding to service requests and perform appropriate troubleshooting/remediation.
Program network components such as routers, phone components and other gateway devices.
Document all service requests and communicate effectively with customers.
Assist with new implementations as required.
Assist in the development and testing of new products.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience.
2+ years of relevant technical experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Industry certifications preferred.
Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Technical knowledge of data networks.
Voice and VoIP technologies and products.
Data Center infrastructure, including Hosted/Virtual solutions.
LAN Security including Firewall and IDS/IPS.
